Michael and Angie's country wedding cupcake cake with scrapped paper stand Nov 09

My brother and Angie’s country wedding featured champagne produced organically with the help of ducks, hopping on a tractor to pick the “noonoos” (as Angie called them) off the vine, wheelbarrows of petals, table numbers and gifts which had been mosaic’d by both of them, and also gifts of potted tomato plants for special guests (with the old John Denver saying of “Only two things money cant buy, love and home grown tomatoes”). They were married under a big tree, and individually framed family photos adorned the trunk. It was just the most emotional and sweetest wedding. My daughter Alex was also the flowergirl (finally..)

Chris and Claire's fantasy  dessert table, paper stands and  cupcake and macaroon cake Jan 2010

Our niece (how old do we sound??) Claire married Chris in a fantasy Alice in Wonderland wedding which featured a touch of pink everywhere! Customised pink fortune cookies, stamped napkins, scrap yourself guest book, Heartfelt Project gifts, and a theme of WORDS were just a few of the unique touches which had people gasping in delight the whole evening. My most memorable moment was the groom’s mother’s speech who after explaining how she felt the need to fatten Claire up upon meeting her, proudly described her new daughter as "chicken soup and dumplings”.
