Gold dusted Chuckles

THIS CHRISTMAS, add a festive gold sparkle to your table.
Thank you to Lisa Cunningham from cupcakes2delite for sharing this tip adding such sparkle to my Christmas Pavlova.
Special Blended Gold (or Silver) colouring is available from any baking shop.
Tylose or Sticky Stuff (Tylose mixed with water) is available from Baking Bitz, in the Carreira shopping centre off Republic road
Chuckles are available from Woolworths, alternatively use Whispers or white chocolate Maltese.
1. Take about ¼ cup of boiling water and sprinkle a few teaspoons of Tylose on top. Leave for a while to dissolve, until you are left with a thick gel-like consistency.
2. Take about ½ teaspoon of this “sticky stuff” and place in a bowl with a bag of chuckles. Mix well with your hands so that the chuckles are coated.
3. Sprinkle the special blended gold colouring on top and toss the bowl until the chuckles are coated.
4. Place them on a flat platter or baking platter to dry.
These festive gold balls can be placed in a bowl as décor, on top of any desserts or served with coffee. Think cupcakes, mini Christmas cakes, ice cream, or even a trifle.
