KEEP CALM, it’s only Christmas….Bookings open 20th August

Posted By thecook on August 12th, 2012

Hip hip hurray …the holidays are approaching and the launch of the long awaited Christmas workshop, KEEP CALM, IT’S ONLY CHRISTMAS is the ideal opportunity to celebrate.

Keep Calm and get set to impress – with minimal stress – as I show you just how easy it is to serve up holiday food with flair.

Gordon’s Apple Tart, a sweet and spicy cocktail will be served on arrival.

We kick off party proceedings with oven baked queen prawns, with a touch of feta and sun dried tomato and set the scene for a festive dining experience.

Prepared ahead for maximum holiday convenience – and easily adapted to feed a crowd – putting together this deliciously different dish could well be the most productive 10 minutes you ever spent.

Next up, rare, roasted sirloin fillet drizzled with lashings of vibrant, flavour-packed salsa verde takes centre stage, and is equally delicious served hot or cold.

This star act is supported by two striking salad platters that are sure to convert even the most committed carnivores.

First up, sweet potato and butternut marries perfectly with caramelised red onion, and an Asian sesame and oyster dressing

Couple this with luxurious avocado and Parmesan salad topped with an assertive olive relish and watch smitten diners swoon.

A magical menu like this deserves a fitting finale and my star studded raspberry ripple shots deliver just the right amount of decadence.

At the same time, I’ll demonstrate a choice of show-stopping dessert ideas for children’s parties or your year end celebrations, ensuring you end 2012 on a sweet note.

A BRITISH INVASION is the classic, vintage styled celebratory themed table PLUS I’ll be showing you super stylish ways to create ‘n wrap a range of easy make Christmas gifts that are high on impact and low in cost.

‘COOK’ is officially back in business and I am so looking forward to having you with me again.
